I do understand that if you lose repeatedly in Fort Aspenwood, it totally kills your Gloom Seed drops. Sorry to have to break it to you, Upier.

Actually, my luck was no better. Went with a full human team. One seed dropped and not for me. Then tried some of the solo builds, but I lagged during the run and got killed before I got there. Will try again tonight.

I'm trying to decide if I'll do FoW (no passage scrolls available to buy, so have to wait for favour) or just spend the weekend farming faction or maybe max out the sunspear track.

Hated having to run to and through the Falls more than the gloom seeds bit. You'd think that using FoW drops as the collectable, that maybe he could have just been standing outside the TOA or something, instead of in the middle of the maguma. Ugh. Straight up running build, cause fighting my way there? Too annoying.

And for all that, I ended up with 10 honeycombs, 10 mysterious summoning stones and 10 merch stones. Bah. Shouldn't have bothered, or just sold the seeds or something.

I joined a Pug group for this week.First group happen to had a warrior who want free ride.He split and soon as we clear the first shadow army groups.He died a few minutes later.And he just left in a failed attempt to solo the beach

The other farming groups plain casual fun thou.

Managed to 600/Smite (Hero) for 5 (out of 10 I need) but it seems so slow. What 600/Smite build are people using. Took me a good 30+ mins with what I was using. Failed near end of run cause accidently unflagged hero xD.

Not checked what I got yet cause cant be bothered run through The Falls just yet. Thank ANet it lasts a week <3.

I have never been in FoW and thought it is going to be difficult. In fact it’s not with a decent team.
The problem is the team. Waiting for ages, than there is like rule one ot two freeloaders – usually W or A. Yesterday( after 4 runs and two seeds) I joined a team with Assassin with a name with N…. This was the top experience this evening. When we got in the forest and first seeds start dropping this guy stopped and wanted us to drop all seeds that we have…he will (eventually) split so that everyone has a seed. There was another guy who said he believes him. I did not. So I left. I thought this was the X dodger in a raw.

I had enough for one evening and went to bed. Hope tonight will be better.

ending up doing the a/e perma silver form and got 5 seeds and 2 obsidian shards in one run

Though it would have been smarter to sell the gifts instead of openning them

Been doing this since week 1, so I have been loving the traveller and his free money, been just great

Actually Ive been just been buying up all the kegs for the drunk title. My gifts translates to 1000 points per week. 5 more weeks will have title.

Also, I just loved the farm this week. I havnt been to FOW for years. I used to find this farm sooooo difficult, now I was surprised how easy it was. What a difference a year or two makes.

I've been doing the solo Ranger Burning Arrow build for the forest. I average probably 12 seeds and 2 shards per run, with my best being 16 seeds and 5 shards.

...tres profitable.

ive only done chest runs in fow eons ago + not even that much, but since this was needed for travs my friend got me convinced on soloing it. its quite fun actually. get seeds/ sell seeds/ get seeds/ sell seeds/ etc....etc...etc...

its gonna get boring eventually.

best run: 9 shards 4 seeds

so far fow scrolls have been dropping so it saves me on the waiting times lol.

Not saying it's hard. I'm saying it's annoying. the whole jungle is. You can make the run without even using crap like consumables. Regen for poison, mending touch for the crip, and sprint and enraging charge so you can get there quicker and leave. 4 skills and you can run alone with ease. But I still hate the place.

If you have a constant run speed buff you'll blow by the spider spawns while they're using apply poison, and they won't chase you in NM. I used to do runs to Zinn's Lair on my ranger using nothing but dwarven stability and escape, and Holy Veil/Mending touch for the skales and wind riders. I enjoy running there though, the jungle is I think the most visually appealing place in the game, which is why I hope Anet comes up with something that will breathe new life into Henge of Denravi.
